Neon Mushroom Embroidery Patch

Sew on/ Iron on Embroidery Patch

Apply with thread - 

1. Prepare the garment and patch: Position the patch on the desired location of the garment. Use pins to hold it in place.
2. Thread the needle: Thread a sharp hand sewing needle with a strong thread that matches the outer edge of your patch for a neat finish. Knot the end of the thread before starting. 
3. Start sewing: Begin from the inside (back) of the material so the knot is hidden. Bring the needle up through the fabric and the edge of the patch. Be careful not to catch your fingers.
4. Stitch around the edge: Use a whip stitch or a simple running stitch to go around the patch's border. Push the needle down through the patch and fabric close to the edge, and then bring it back up a few millimeters away, repeating until you have circled the entire patch.
5. Finish off: Once you reach the end, push the needle to the inside of the garment (this will hide the knot on the inside!). Tie a few secure knots to finish the thread.

Apply with heat -

1. Prepare the garment: Ensure the fabric is clean, dry, and crease free. Place the item on a flat, heat-resistant surface (an ironing board or a sturdy table covered with a towel).
2. Position the patch: Place the patch in the desired location, with the adhesive (shiny) side down against the fabric.
3. Set the iron: Preheat your iron to a high temperature, usually the "Cotton" setting works well. Make sure to turn off the steam setting and ensure there is no water in the iron.
4. Apply heat (front): Place a thin pressing cloth (a tea towel, pillowcase, or an old cloth) over the patch to protect it from direct heat.
5. Wait! Apply heat directly for 30-60 seconds. Be careful as the patch will get extremely hot while the glue bonds to the fabric!
6. Allow to cool. Allow the patch to fully cool for several minutes before checking if it's fully adhered. Repeat the process if the patch hasn't fully attached.
